Still setting up new studio. It’s been a frustratingly slow process but I think I’m almost there. I hate a messy workshop.
One benefit of this new place is that it has forced me to dig out old paintings I never finished, some started as far back as 20 years ago. That will be a focus in the next few months, trying to complete as many of them as I can bear, while of course working on new compositions.
I’m particularly excited about The Salsa Instructor. I think it’s a good canvas and I now feel much more comfortable with it than I did when I started in about 16 years ago. I’m glad I didn’t paint over it as I do some work I give up on.
Then there’s the Venetian Glass Worker. I will get that finished before this year is out.
